To update your Windows Phone 7:

1. Connect your phone to your computer using the USB cable
2. Open the Zune software on your computer
3. Click on the phone icon in the upper left corner
4. Select "Settings" then "Update"
5. If an update is available, follow the on-screen instructions

Note: Ensure your phone is at least 50% charged before starting the update.

Yes, Windows Phone 7 can sync with Outlook through several methods:

• Windows Live/Outlook.com: Sync contacts, calendar, and email through your Windows Live account
• Exchange ActiveSync: For corporate Exchange accounts
• Zune Software: For media sync (music, videos, podcasts)
• Third-party apps: Available in Marketplace for additional sync options

For the best experience, we recommend using Windows Live ID which integrates seamlessly with Windows Phone 7 services.

File transfer for Windows Phone 7 primarily uses the Zune software:

1. Install Zune software on your Windows PC (available free from Microsoft)
2. Connect your phone via USB cable
3. Zune will automatically open and detect your device
4. Drag and drop music, videos, or pictures to sync
5. For documents, use email or cloud services like SkyDrive
