Windows Phone 7 Revival Setup Guide

This guide will help you on jailbreaking your windows phone 7 device. we will be using *Lumia 800* as an example in this guide.

✅ Before You Begin
Make sure you have the following ready:
- Your Windows Phone 7 device with at least 50% battery
- A Windows PC with Windows 7 or 8 (8.1, 10, 11 won't work due to too new .NET 4 framework)
- USB Type-B cable for your phone
- Check sideload availability | Check here for supported List
- Download the required packages: Nokia Packages (Extract) | Chimera Drivers (Install this first!)

Prepare Your Device
First, boot your windows phone in to qualcomm mode.
- Firstly, turn off your device.
- After ensuring your device is powered off, hold the volume + btn on your phone, and plug-in the USB cable by connecting your phone to your main PC / Virtual Machine.
- Check your device manager to see if it have the name QUALCOMM and if yes then congrats! your first step is ready.
⚠️ Important
This will clean your devices data and which is not recoverable. be aware!

Download Required Custom firmware
As we are using Nokia Lumia 800 here, I've found some avaliable pre-unlocked firmwares. which you might want to download here:

Unlocking the device (Flash custom firmware)
Since your device is in QUALCOMM mode, we can now flash via NSS pro!
- Extract the downloaded ZIP file to a folder (e.g., C:\WP7Revival)
- Find NSS Pro and Run as admin.
- Follow the process below:
- 1. Go to flashing section
- 2. Press WP7 Tools (you can see in the list)
- 3. Press "OS File" and find your .nb file in your downloaded firmware (example: os-new.nb)
- 4. Click Flash and wait for it to be done!
- After the flash process is finished, hold vol+, vol-, and power btn for 10s, and press power btn to boot.

Check if boots
See if your device turns on with the NOKIA Logo. if not, repeat step 2

Phone not detected by PC
If your phone isn't detected:
- Ensure Zune software, Drivers are installed and running
- Try a different USB cable
